Come and stay in one of our ten high quality premium en-suite guest bedrooms, all named after local villages. Eight rooms are in our recently converted stable annexe and two are above the pub.

We are close to the centre of Bath with easy road access, ample parking and a large garden overlooking Bath racecourse. All our rooms are finished to the highest standards and have luxury bathrooms with walk in rain forest showers, flat screen tv’s, complimentary Wi-Fi, tea and coffee facilities and choice of a cooked or continental breakfast. Nine of the rooms feature king size or twin beds* and one room, Weston, has a double bed.

*Please let us know at the time of booking if you would prefer twin beds instead of a king double.

Dogs are allowed in the pub garden and the bar area and must be kept on leads. Two dogs maximum per bedroom. Cost per dog is £10/night. A dog box including blanket, treats, bowl and poo bags provided for you to use in each bedroom.

“Accommodation in a separate secure courtyard. The room was quiet, spacious, well equipped with clean modern decor which was obviously the work of a designer and everywhere was spotlessly clean with immaculate white linen. Couldn’t fault it. We only sampled the breakfast which, apart from the usual full English, included vegan and more unusual options.”

“We chose this Hotel as dog friendly and very close to where our son lives. Excellent accommodation with private courtyard which is very secure for your dog . Quiet, comfortable and clean. We only had breakfast at Hotel as meals had finished when we arrived back at Hotel in evening . Breakfast was lovely freshly prepared and hot. Alternatively you can have yogurt, cereal and full English which I recommend. We would stay again as access to racecourse for walking dog is Excellent. Rooms have catered for pet aswell with wooden floors, pet box which has treats, blanket, bowls etc.”

“We stopped for 4 nights in this wonderful Inn, The staff made us feel welcome as soon, as we arrived, The room was very clean and very peaceful Even though there was a busy road outside we didn’t hear a thing! Breakfast was lovely, Dawn the lady who served us and took care of us during breakfast was very easy to talk to and she couldn’t do enough for you. All in all lovely staff lovely food and lovely room. Needless to say, we will be back as we have a wedding to attend….. To the Manager thank you for all your help.”

“We stayed two nights for the purpose of attending Bath Races. The Inn is at the end of the race course and only a ten minute walk to the race course.
Also there is a Park & Ride nearby for easy access to Bath City.
We were delighted with everything. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast and found the food to be of a high standard with plenty of choices. We would highly recommend The Charlcombe Inn.”

“Great place to stay. My partner and I booked a last minute night away here last week and didn’t expect too much, just wanted a room to stay. We were pleasantly surprised however and the room istelf was lovely, very clean and modern. “Sunday Lunch – Booked during the week, thanks to a friends recommendation and was not disappointed, the carvery was amazing, the best we have seen around the area, vegetables green instead of wilting away – crispy potatoes and pink beef (yum). The chef on the carvery even convinced my daughter to have some carrots – normally she won’t touch any veg – we were impressed. The team were great, could see they were struggling but clearly had a sign upon entry stating understaffed due to illness. We will definitely be returning – thanks walhampton team”

“Such a good experience – Went for a carvery with some friends this Sunday, 27th of February. The service was quick and efficient and all done will a smile. The food was impressive and the chef carving was lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a yummy treat on a Sunday. The atmosphere was booming as well. “Booked to stay one night as was seeing a show in Bath, and wow we could not have asked for anything more! We had a meal in the Inn and that was lovely, the inside was just so cosy and inviting, service was absolutely spot on, we had burgers and everything was so fresh. We then booked in and the room was fantastic, so clean and had everything we needed, so nice and peaceful and the bed was so comfy!! Then it was time for breakfast, well the chef certainly knows how to cook a beautiful full English, nothing was too much trouble, and all I can say is…..when can we stay again, just perfect!”

“I chose to stay here because of the ample parking, free breakfast and it looked a nice room. I wasn’t disappointed. The room was really comfy and clean and was beautifully done out. Very well heated and everything I needed.
The breakfast was good and they catered for vegans. They seemed to have everything working smoothly and the lady serving breakfast was really pleasant. I would chose to stay again”
